Your host for CETHA 2017 is the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE).

HKU SPACE started out under a different name as the Department of Extra Mural Studies of the University of Hong Kong. In 1957. It was the first continuing education unit in a university in the region. In 1992, it was renamed as the School of Professional and Continuing Education. In the previous decades, HKU SPACE strived to provide quality learning opportunities for personal, professional and career advancement for people from all walks of life. In year 2017, we are celebrating the 60th anniversary. Please join us at CETHA and share the happiness of our diamond jubilee together.

Panel Speakers

It is very honoured to have Prof. S. C. Kong (The Education University of Hong Kong), Prof. Ricky Kwok (The University of Hong Kong) and Dr. Henry Lau (The University of Hong Kong) as our Panel session speakers. The title of the Panel session is The Use of Technology in Education.

This one hour session will cover development and trends in E-Learning throughout the year. From flipped classroom, MOOC, social media, microlearning to better use of data, we can expect a lively and joyful discussion.

Conference Venue

CETHA 2017 is going to be held at the HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College (HPSHCC). The campus is conveniently located in the heart of the city, Causeway Bay. The 19-storey campus building covers a gross floor area of approximately 17,000 square metres, and has been equipped with state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities and supported by an advanced computing network system. Two academic theatres can accommodate a total number around 300 participants concurrently.
